Universal Music Nashville is Universal Music Group's country music subsidary, consisting of MCA Nashville Records, Mercury Nashville Records, and Lost Highway Records. Our active artist roster includes Sugarland, Josh Turner, George Strait, and many more. As the Digital Department intern, I work with the Marketing Department to manage content on UMG and artist websites, update social media networks and mobile apps, and help design and execute marketing plans for our artists.

American Songwriter is a bimonthly magazine covering the craft, art, and stories of songwriting. Its goal is to provide unparalleled inspiration to passionate music fans and songwriters alike through its interviews, lyric contests, and behind-the-song features. For interns, it's a little writing, a little social media, a little graphic design, and a whole lot of listening to music.

Billboard Music App Award finalist Aloompa is an iOS/Android app development company responsible for entertainment apps for Kenny Chesney, Bonnaroo, and Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. I wireframed apps so clients could see their ideas come to life and programmers could know just what they were getting themselves into. I was also the only girl.

I was in charge of daily sales, bookkeeping, and absolutely anything else I was given the opportunity to do.

The Junior Advancement Group is a team that develops and maintains good relationships between students, parents, and alumni, as well as raises money for the Belmont Annual Fund. Last year, we successfully raised over $60,000 to support scholarships and academic programs.

Rick Clark Productions is run by producer, journalist, author, and music supervisor Rick Clark. I worked in the music supervision side of the business, encoding his music collection for use in television and films.

Music Therapy Services works to improve social functioning and verbal/non-verbal communication in children with Autism, Parkinson's Disease, and developmental diseases. As an intern, I overhauled the sheet music database system and compiled albums for clients such as the Hospice of Cincinnati.
