Aren’t celebrities constantly followed by paparazzi?

Perhaps they are used to keep the celebrities in a trance-like state so they are not fully in touch with reality which would cause them to “wake up” from this dream.

Even on red (sacrafice) carpets they are photographed and I never really understood why until now..
