Swissted.

Great little project by New York designer Mike Joyce re-imagining Punk/hardcore gig posters in a Swiss Modernist style.

Two things I love, punk/hardcore and Swiss type…More design like this please everyone.

This blog is brilliant. Classic album covers recreated with clip art and Comic Sans.

This has been doing the rounds for a few days now, but hey…I *like* being late to the party.

A bit of work by legendary concept artist Syd Mead and additional artists (including Ridley Scott himself…talented bastard), this book showcases Blade Runner’s incredible look.

It also hammers home the fact that such well thought out and damn beautiful production design has been sorely lacking in most modern Sci-Fi films (Although you could argue that as older films predictions of flying cars, silver jumpsuits and Astro-domes on Mars have proven to be a bit off the mark, Sci-Fi has become a little more grounded in it’s predictions of future worlds).

Anyway, go read the whole thing here: Issue

and if anyone ever finds a print copy…buy it for me, yeah?

I highly recommend that everybody stops what they’re doing and watches this.

Oh, and turn that shit up loud.  Real loud.
