You can't MAKE someone gain the intelligence to understand things. You just need to make friends based on whether or not they have the qualities you're looking for in a friend. I happen to not meet many people that can understand much of anything I'm going through, and so I end up with nothing but cheap sympathy. However, the fact that they don't really understand is okay by me because they have other excellent qualities that outweigh this. Does that make sense? I just woke up so yeah...
