My primary area of experience is leading music ministries in local churches. A large part of this is the weekly responsibility of leading the congregation in singing hymns and praise choruses in Sunday worship services.

Also included in this task is developing musicians, singers, and artists. I love the challenge that comes with the wide range of worship styles in this age of "tradition" vs. "contemporary". I seek to bring the two together, honoring the practices handed down from generations before us and reaching ahead to creative and fresh ways of experiencing corporate worship.

Writing original music is the other large part of my experience. Even though there are hundreds of "praise and worship" songs on the Christian music market today, I believe that local churches should foster a culture of developing their own artists and writers.

These artists and writers help communicate the story of what God is uniquely doing in their local church.

A theologically wide spectrum of songs is needed but primarily I write songs emphasizing the finished work of Christ on the cross, as seen in the gospel. This is where true worship starts; it's the ground we worship God on.

One eleven musiK is an umbrella company covering all things to do with my original music, audio production, and live event production services. Both inside and outside the church, One eleven musiK manages my song publishing, album releases, as well as concerts and emcee services for special events.
