Summary
I like to see myself as a problem finder and solver. Also, having design as an educational background, I can very much identify myself with what Tim Brown, founder of IDEO describes as a T-shaped person:
“[...] people who are so inquisitive about the world that they’re willing to try to do what you do. We call them “T-shaped people.” They have a principal skill that describes the vertical leg of the T—they’re mechanical engineers or industrial designers.
But they are so empathetic that they can branch out into other skills, such as anthropology, and do them as well. They are able to explore insights from many different perspectives and recognize patterns of behavior that point to a universal human need”.
My goal is to always work with smart and awesome people.

I soon noticed that as a strategist and planner I would be able to help design better solutions for the clients problems than as an art director. So I asked to be a planner too. As a planner I´ve helped SPR structure and implement new methodology and tools for communications planning and branding projects. Some of the brands I´ve worked with so far are Ortopé, Killing, Keko, Brazilian Footwear, Fenac, Carrano, Okean, iibauá and HLar. I´m very happy with the fact that I get to work very closely with the creative department and actively help transform insights in creative solutions and ideas.

Stop trying to ‘get it together’. The biggest lie we’re told when we’re growing up is that soon as we’re adults, as soon as we’re in college, finish college, get that job, have that steady income, find that someone special, ‘find ourselves’, find that perfect house, get that retirement fund, have those children, everything will fall into place. Here’s a secret: it won’t. Every new development in your life, good or bad, big or small, will come with its own very special set of challenges. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be.
