I hate when you have to pick between pre-made security questions and none of them are something you'd remember.

@viona it's true. They'd die in the cold climate.

An interesting look at the role of science and religion (and possibly philosophy) when it comes to questions and answers and the quality of each.
Droste effect in Conway’s Life
This is one of the many reasons why I refer to this game when people are incredulous that simple rules can generate incredible complexity when it comes to life in the universe. It’s also why just because the dominoes of life are set up and irreversible it doesn’t mean that there’s a pre-determined outcome.
I’ve got such an art boner right now.
Chris Sauter’s “The Whole World”

This is pretty amazing. Well worth watching past the first 5 minutes. You know how people taut hemp as being a miracle crop with a million uses? Thorium looks to be the miracle fuel for nuclear reactors.
Holograms are getting closer and closer to becoming a viable reality. I remember seeing a comparatively crude setup of this same sort of technology only months ago. The video I saw was probably a few years old but that doesn’t matter. The advances they’ve made in the resolution and speed this hologram technology can produce is mind blowing.
It’s the weirdest thing to look at my group of friends and my social life right now and think “It all started when a video of Tom Cruise leaked out onto the internet…”
Mark my words: 10 years from now we’ll be able to record our dreams in recognizable fidelity.
Time-Lapse Thing of the Day: For the latest installment in his ongoing series of beautiful “choreographed time-lapse shorts” (previously), Kim Pimmel “combined everyday soap bubbles with exotic ferrofluid liquid to create an eerie tale.”

If you gave that man an enema you could bury him in a matchbox.
This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I’ll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.
Our Pasta
Who art al dente
Simmered be thy sauce.
Thy cheese in crumbs,
Thy meatballs yum,
On our plates,
As well as our forks.
Give us this day our garlic bread,
And deliver us some antacid.
For thine is the noodles,
The tomatoes
And the ground meat forever.
Ramen.
I’m not entirely comfortable with how accurate this is to how I relate my humor to others…
Pretty much, unfortunately. On the other hand you can work this to your advantage and never really ‘grow up’. Hence my recent procurement of Nerf guns.

You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.Asked by Formspring 9 months ago

possibly. i'd be thrilled to know someone i liked actually liked me back. the problem is that crushes were all physically based so if they've let themselves go there'd have to be enough there personality wise to keep me interested. it'd be an interesting situation to be sure but as long as they're not insane it'd be worth a shot.Asked by Paul 11 months ago

here's what i said to someone via text right after it happened: "after digesting it for a day here's what i think of the bin ladin thing: relief that he's gone. Understandable the fan fare that people are having over it but still think all the partying in the streets is a bit much (imagery of Islamic people's burning US flags comes to mind). not sure if we should be so "AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!" when it took us 10 years, thousands of soldiers, and billions of dollars later to find one guy. Throw enough time, money, and people at anything and it's just an eventuality that we accomplish it. And all it amounts to in the war on terror is that we chopped off one particularly large head from the Hydra. Can we leave the middle east, get back our civil liberties, and pull our economy out of the toilet now? No? Fantastic.." my feelings now are pretty much the same.Asked by SurCiel 12 months ago
