Creative Research & Development

With over 15 years of experience developing interactive experiences Emile continues to work for AKQA's clients such as Acer, Nike, Fiat and MTV. A developer at heart he's worked on many award winning campaigns including Nike Speed, Coke Cola, Nike World Cup and has most recently been developing the FuelStream display at #Nike #SXSW #Counts.

Whilst his early work had been delivering high end flash experiences, the emphasis on early development and use of new technologies has been revived due to the shift of focus from desktop web based user engagements towards mobile social orientated experiences. Whilst his overall focus is the fusion of creative and emerging technologies to deliver inspiring and enjoyable experiences, Emile specific interest and current focus lies in the field of 'processing", "visualisation" and data analysis.

Emile also has a 1st Dan in Aikido with the Isshinkai School of Aikido and believes that the "principles" learned there can effectively be used in the work place.

"There are no contests in the Art of Peace. A true warrior is invincible because he or she contests with nothing. Defeat means to defeat the mind of contention that we harbor within." O'Sensei
