I am building social, mobile technology that starts real life, interesting conversations between "strangers" who share the same location, so they aren't strangers anymore.

PeopleHunt is an interest based scavenger hunt for people in crowds, like events and festivals, for iPhone and mobile web. - It is designed to get people meeting, face to face, with the right people, within a large, fluid crowd. - It quickly gathers information from users at the event, e.g their industry background, who they are looking to meet etc. - This information is used to match and bring the right people together in a fun way. - The app allows players to suggest locations where people can meet their PeopleHunt match and can be customized to highlight certain sponsored areas where the organizer would like people to gather. - Data can later be used to glean a better understanding of who attended the event, how many interactions happened etc. GuessMyPersona is a second application that uses psychological profiling and gaming mechanics to make it fun to discover people in a networking context.

We designed and organized over 25 events in Galway and Dublin with the specific goal of getting interesting people together. The events were designed to challenge people to share ideas, to have interesting conversations and to learn something new from each other.
- Feb 2008 - Apr 2009Market Development Engineer / Proxy Biomedical LtdWorked on design of brochures and product literature. Implemented a CMS system. Worked on the website and google adwords, to increase traffic to the site by 300%. Was lead on the development of new product for reconstruction.
