Have managed and executed over 50 regional marketing and publicity campaigns for major motion picture studios including 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, The Weinstein Company, Turner, Disney, Open Road Studios, IFC Films and more. Work with media to maximize publicity for films, secure interviews for talent and directors and coordinate local media coverage via press junkets and publicity tours. Plan and secure trade promotions with print, online, TV and radio partners, garnering tens of thousands of dollars of free promotion for each campaign. Manage agency’s local social media presence via Facebook, Twitter, Hoot Suite, WordPress and mobile outreach.

Promoted the charity “tweet-up” to targeted Twitter audiences and PR professionals. Coordinated and secured national sponsors; served as liaison between the event’s sponsors and national director.

Compile daily press clippings and coordinate with assistant to SVP of publicity. Contribute to pitch brainstorming sessions. Distribute press kits and communicate with reporters. Maintain press contact databases. File and maintain internal press archive.

Coordinated dissemination of press materials to local and international media (AP, Reuters, LA Times, NY Times).
