For the past six years, Chris Lake has been living the dream. As a DJ he’s travelled the globe. As a producer, he’s topped industry charts over and over again. As a lover of music, he continues to chase down the freshest beats around. Simply put, he’s become one of the great DJ/ Producers of the modern world. 

In 2009 Chris turned to the Americas with the intention of winning over two of 'the' musically cultured continents. Two Billboard Dance chart airplay number 1’s and multiple tours, have ensured that from Vancouver to Rio, NYC to Miami… the sound of Chris Lake has travelled far and wide, and is now embraced with loving arms, no matter what the city.

The question is, what is the sound of Chris Lake? Yes, he is known for his musical crossovers, and based on the success of 'Changes', ‘La Tromba’, ‘Only One’ and ‘If You Knew’, why not? The latter, taking the number one spot in the Music Week, Buzz and Cool Cuts charts, while the accompanying music video was praised by MTV and broke into its Top 5 weekly chart. 

As a DJ his vibe is very different, always enjoying the darker and deeper side of electronic music, yet still fusing in cheeky edits and homemade tracks, just so the dance floor knows it’s the Chris Lake experience and one to be savored.

2010 kicked off with a Michael Woods remix of his collaboration with good friend Deadmau5 ‘I Said’ taking Pete Tong’s first ‘Essential New Tune of the decade.’ That was to be just the beginning… further works with Michael Woods on 'Dominos' and another BBC Radio 1 hit, this time with Nelski on 'Minimal Life' - all peaking with his Lake & Lys album 'Cross the Line', launched mid way through his residency at Cream Ibiza with Deadmau5 and Friends. The year ended in fine style, Chris and Marco, once again ripping up a re-edit, this time Nightrider's 'Hey' got the treatment - another Buzz Chart No.1 for the guys. 

The year to come promises a massive America tour, an excited move to LA and much much more music! 

Chris Lake is….? The word ‘accomplished’ springs to mind. Now it’s up to us to sit back and enjoy the pleasure of watching as his attitude towards music matures and develops… who knows what’s yet to come…

Continuing a string of hot releases, Chris Lake and his label Rising Music welcome back LA based producer Hot Mouth, who this time teams up with Chris James for 'Totally Worth It'. 

Already gaining support from his peers and other big acts in the industry including Fedde Le Grand who has been championing the track in his sets, Jon Pegnato returns with yet another juicy cut. This time featuring the vocal talent of Chris James who you will no doubt have heard on deadmau5's last record 'The Veldt'. They team up superbly, Chris' vocal screaming out over a blend of tech house beats and bouncing synth lines. 

Also included on the package is a remix from established Italian tech house king Federico Scavo. With various number 1 Beatport records and releases on Hotfingers and Toolroom Records he delivers one of his signature mixes, full of groovy beats and his unique flavour.

This time see's former LA Riots member and his new project Hot Mouth have a debut release on the label. His EP 'Habits' consists of two club worthy belters, both infused with techy drums and undulating bass lines. With rising arpegios leading the way in Bad Habits - Good Habits takes the more electro approach with resonating, choppy leads building throughout.

Chris Lake's ever growing label Rising Music welcomes Big Love boss Seamus Haji to the label for a special collaboration with Rising star, Nelski.

They re-work the Chemical Brothers classic anthem 'Hey Boy, Hey Girl' in spectacular style, bringing it fresh into 2012 with a bang. Full of rising synths and rumbling beats, the pair make this a great tool for the dancefloor.

They supply us with 'Hey' - a fantastic disco infused anthem, full of string stabs, funky bass lines, whirling synths and a chopped up vocal sample great for a peak time floor filler.

Chris Lake and Marco Lys add their magic by giving the original a tougher re-working - adding a rolling bass line and extra spicy drums with big signature build and after the success of their recent album 'Cross The Line' it's easy to see how they have created a highly quality produced main room edit.

Nom De Strip who with previous releases on Southern Fried, Ministry of Sound, Trouble & Bass, Sneakerz, and Surfer Rosa adds to the package by transforming the original into a chunky house classic by using new bass lines and choppy beats.

Chris Lake & Marco Lys return after the success of their studio album 'Cross The Line' with the 2nd single off the it.

They supply us with 'Running Out' - a disco infused house anthem that builds and builds full of energy and tasty elements.

Remixes come courtesy of Redroche - the duo add in their signature bass line and synths, perfect for the main room. Mind Electric use the vocal sample to full effect and even throw in some vinyl effects. LA Riots use an acid infused bass line to give the original some extra flavour. Jordy Lishious gives it his Dutch magic touch to create another peak time re-work and last but by no means least, the wonderful Saab and PCR Freaks give the original a massive tech house make over.
