Freelance Illustrator by day, math aficionada by night.
Felt like relearning to use watercolor with a random iguana piece.
Watercolor paint and pencils, Sakura Pigma pen and acrylics on watercolor paper.
…I miss Inkscape. Maybe it’s because I’m completely new to Illustrator, but I’m finding Inkscape to be a lot more intuitive than the former. I also miss having a car.
Random ink doodle based first on her hands and wings, then progressed into a pattern overload XD.
Vase Of Lilies On a Hearth
A long while back, I painted a very conservative and naturalistic picture of a bowl of lilies I had bought for my sainted mother’s birthday. I posted it here for a while, but it seemed hopelessly out of place. So I painted it again, this time with a wildly flamboyant color scheme, and here is the result. The subject matter is almost lost, not that it matters: Color itself is the subject now, and the lilies are only an excuse for it.
I don’t know whether this is Expressionistic or Fauvist or something else entirely. I’ve stopped keeping score.
If the picture leaves you a bit disoriented, let me help: The vase is the roundish, rust-colored object on creamy white, and the arrangement is viewed from above.
Bunny’s rendition of five different outfits worn by five different males in Angel Matryoshka~!

Based on a ridiculous prompt I sent during a break from work, PONPONPON~manlyPON.
Through this, I sincerely apologize for my bitch behavior.
Shipping is not serious business.

I’m particularly bored today, huh? Drew this while Ghost Adventures was on (I like it, shut up).
As far as I know, this is the last of this series’ WIP I have. Just posting it because BUBBLES!
Here’s how you deal with that, so listen up:
You take that old work and you look at it. Ok, what is it that you don’t like about it? Do you wish your style was smoother? Do you enjoy colours but cannot do them for the love of anything? What’s wrong with it that stops you from liking it? What do you admire most in other artists that you are not getting from your own work? Is this the direction you feel compelled to go in, or are you taking a certain path for reasons other than “I like doing this kind of work more than any other work and I want to do it forever?”
Ok, now that you’ve answered at least a few of these questions-here’s a hint, if you look at the artwork you enjoy for a while, all at once, you will generally find a pettern in the things that draw you. It might be a certain method, or how polished those pieces look, or it might be a general style. Find it. Now take that aspect and any other aspects you find that you like, and start experimenting. Find your own way of doing things through vast amounts of paper, because that is really the only way to do things.
Basically, force a crisis.
Or, if you do not have time for that… Take the course I outlined a week or so ago.

[#531: that wall you hit as soon as you admit that your art sucks, and that you have no idea how your going to improve.]
note to my sister:HAHAHAHHA I HAVE FINISHED THIS! FUCK THAT WING!
I considered putting this up on deviantArt but tumblr is has replaced it somehow.
Got it a while back but this is the first time I’m wearing it! Adventure, ahoy~
You’ll need shoes to go with that shirt C:
I’m an equal rights defender and offender! That said, it’s not so much romantic as it is a filter/lighting experiment. I keep falling into a rut so what was supposed to be a 10 minute sketch became a 2 hour WIP.
EDIT 01.09.2012: Tried my hand at lineless rendering.
A little Android!Wheatley to liven up :)
Rusty as f-ck with digital art. Quick digital sketch just because the other drawing I worked on was depressing. Favourite part for me is his nose ha ha (click on the picture for its blog!)
