Starting in 2006 as a few friends enjoying good music in beautiful surroundings, this party has grown through word of mouth only.
Renowned for it's friendly crowds and diverse entertainment this event features a number of different attractions.
DJ's including THE LOOSE CANNONS (Snowbombing / KISS FM), bands like Will and The People, entertainers including Marky Jay (comedian/juggler) & Simon Chainey (fire performer).
Installations include the Skynet suspended like an enormous hammock in the trees, Cubes Concept arch and the Airstream Bullet bus hair salon.
Previous fancy dress themes include the 80's, Star Wars, On Safari, Jurassic Lark and most recently "Come as you were" and resurrection.

- Feb 02, 12On February 1st 2012 the first 100 tickets will go on sale at £24 via Resident Advisor.
Subsequent tickets will cost £36. The licence for this party allows a maximum of 500 people.
With limited entry at £50 on the gate, you know what to do people!!Payment by Visa or Mastercard is secure through Resident Advisor.You will need to bring ID and the card used to pay for the tickets to gain access to the party.

Headliners on the night:

Guests arrived on Good Friday for the pre-party with live bands, totally pointless ball sports, skittle alley, table football, barbecue and piano at the bar.

We took the love from the lawn and shared it in a room with waterfalls in a tower with views across London! A very cosmopolitan crowd enjoyed a special evening of fun on the beds, the floor and in our ears.
Dan Formless was joined by the effervescent twosome THE LOOSE CANNONS (Snowbombing / KISS FM) and DJ Stan-ley. - Mar 10, 11* The SKY HAMMOCK in the trees morphed into double dimensions of fun with a SILENT DISCO to boot!

* Our courtesy 1950's Range Rover went DJing off-road!

Evolved Audio and Bodymove hosted our dino reunion party in the basement at Egg club, London with headliner and legend MR C joining Formless, Matt Kerley and Audio Vandal. - Mar 10, 11A FREE London Day of Hugs reunion party held on Sat 20th June to showcase the many photos and movies from our safari expedition!
Named ANGEL HUGS after the location and fancy dress theme.
The recently opened Bar Sequence near Angel offers no less than 7 high quality projectors and a super tight sound system. Their selection of cocktails and wines is extensive, whilst a pint of beer is still only £3.50!
DJ's included Simon Wynn, Chris Gainer, Cousin G and Formless. - Mar 10, 11Day of Hugs "On Safari" was by far the best party we have ever thrown. Thank you everyone who made it possible. Check out new featured photos every day!
Global House hosted an area (decorated by Sparkly Nuts) delivering the finest Electro and Breaks with DJ's playing from a 1950's Land Rover whilst Cheetahs danced on the bonnet! A Different World gave us chilled alternative vibes all night long. The Day of Hugs tent continued to deliver the sort of underground House and Techno our reputation has been built on.

Those who arrived early bagged the best camping spots and enjoyed the sunshine and workshops including hooping (Hoop Dance Heaven), juggling (Flame Fireshows), drumming and more. At sunset the Secret Garden Party crew entertained us with fire hooping and gifts for the king. They were followed by Flame Fireshows giving us an incredible taste of what their Southern Lights festival has to offer. Strumpets with Crumpets provided very tasty food (and views) throughout the 24 hours.

A big thanks to all the DJ's, the Bristol crew, the Brighton crew and the Mashheads (whose numbers are multiplying daily). I would also like to thank all the Purbeck locals who made it extra special with their presence.
