Lake Titicaca is a lake located in the Andes on the border of Peru and Bolivia. It sits 3,811 m (12,500 ft) above sea level, making it the highest commercially navigable lake in the world.[2]By volume of water, it is also the largest lake in South America[3][4] Lake Maracaibo has a larger surface area, but it is often disregarded because it is directly connected to the sea. - Link

Nice wall in Medellín – Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera (The City of Everlasting Spring) Colombia. Strange it says Bolivia on it though!
Fevela kids in Rocinha. I didn’t really take notice of this photo at first, but now it’s one of my favorites from South America. It was taken with the Olympus Pen that got stolen shortly after in Manaus in north Brazil.
I shot this South African Red Winged Starling, with my Canon G9 in 2009. We were at the top of a very cloudy Table Mountain, Cape Town, so were unable to see much, but it will explain the background in the photo.
January’s Cardboardboss was even busier than December’s event! It was ‘one in one out’ by 11pm and super busy until the lights came on. Thank you all that came along, we recorded the night and will be releasing the sets as free downloads!
Next up - Cardboardboss brings you the 3rd event in our new monthly residency at The Cornershop, Shoreditch.

Some words of courage for the humble designer. The photo was taken in South Africa with Olympus E-PL1.
‘Beenie on Escalators’ - January submission for the The Sunday Times “Photo2012” Competition.
“This year is going to be all about London. With the Olympics, the Paralympics, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee all taking place in the next 12 months, 2012 will be a spectacular, and memorable, one for the capital. To reflect this, we are looking for photographs that celebrate London in all its diversity. From a sunrise above the Thames to a knees-up in an East End pub, how you interpret that is up to you.”
The competition runs from January 1 until July 31. Each month I will be submitting a new photo.
………………………………………………………… Hey, Happy New Year! You may have noticed I'm back in London now. After 8 months on the road, I thought it was time to take a break and regroup. I've had a great time with family and friends over Christmas. If your reading this and we met (or even if we have not) It would be great to catch up, drop me a message. ………………………………………………………… So the latest news is that I've set up a new site over at Reflections Of Space this will be my new full time blog, but when I'm back on the road again I'll be posting back up on this travel blog for sure. 2012 is sure to be another great year of growing and discovering for me and I hope to make Reflections of Space the first step towards bigger and better things. Happy New Year everyone and all the best for 2012. Dave. …………………………………………………………
………………………………………………………… Some of you will know, I originally started this journey with a fairly decent Micro 4thirds camera - The Olympus Pen, which got stolen in my first month of travel! Depression soon wore off as I knew that my next purchase would be a serious upgrade to a professional camera. Fast forward 5 Months later and I've bought myself a Canon 7D + Sigma 50mm lens (with a Tokina 11-16mm on the way). Prizes for anyone who can guess what I will be getting up to with those lens'. For anyone who is wondering that tripod is the TrekTech T-Pod which I can't plug enough! …………………………………………………………
▲ Click to open ………………………………………………………… I've now set up my store ''TimeCapsule'' over at Society6 - http://society6.com/TimeCapsule A fantastic site where you can buy and sell art prints. There's so much good work up over there. I'm happy to have finally got some work up with them. More prints will be coming, once I can access all my work, which is stuck on my mac formatted hard drive (I can't access anything on this Colombian Notebook!) …………………………………………………………
