So let's start off with how late this haul is. I've been meaning to do this for a while but I've been too lazy. Haha, not a surprise.
Soo, some of the items are birthday gifts from last month, while the rest are products I couldn't resist buying. Gah, I really have to stop shopping.
Sooo, let's hop to it! Starting with some birthday gifts.
okay so I realllly love these heels that my friend bought me from Wet Seal. I don't normally shop there, but I have nothing but good things to say about their shoes. I bought a pair of boots there a couple years ago, and it's still in mint condition. Did I mention that they're also extremely comfortable?
Anyways, I'll have to find a cute simple dress to match with these babies.
I received this
Cakes recipe book from my good friend, Andrea. It makes me happy to know that people actually care and listen when I ramble about my random hobbies. I think they think I'm annoying when I rave about soap/bath bomb making. Baha!
There are some really tasty looking recipes worth trying in here. I'll probably post some pics when the time comes. :3
I am obsessed with these brushes! First of all, look at that killer pattern? I feel luxurious holding these brushes...I am not worthy! Ehem, anyways. This Sonia Kashuk brush kit is one of many gifts I recieved from Dimple. My favorite brush is the one on the far left. It's super dense and gives great precision when I fill my brows.
Okay, on to my random splurges!!
I have been waiting like a mad man for this product to arrive in the mail! For the past week, my morning ritual consisted of checking the UPS tracking website on my iPhone the moment I wake up. I'm a mess, really.
Sympathy for the Skin is really great for dry and dull skin. It helps brightnen and tone the skin, as well as decreases redness. I'm not really sure who said this, but I heard it's great for people who have eczema, which is great! I have horrible dry patches on my arms so hopefully this works.
As for smell, I really can't say if I like it or not. It's supposed to smell like bananas since it is the main ingredient, but I smell a whole ton of cocoa butter/vanilla. It's not quite appealing straight from the jar, but is very satisfying once the lotion is applied to the skin. Mmmm, I just got a decadent whiff of it right now.
My very first products from MAC. Can you believe it?!
I ended up purchasing a fun color, Vegas Volt. I really like the peachy/coral look, and this looks great on my skin color - which was my main concern for such a bold color. To get a more natural look, I like dabbing the color onto my lips. It's amazing I tell ya!
This concealer is definitely a keeper! I love the formula - thick and tacky. Not really the first words that come to mind, ey? It's great coverage for my under eyes circles. You know, gotta conceal after hardcore nights of partying (more like late night marathons of Doctor Who -_-').
I kept hearing people rave about BB creams all over the world of beauty on the internet. I was pretty skeptical of how astounding the formula is. Anti-wrinkle, SPF 40+, AND skin whitening? It's a freaking triple whammy! I did some research and ended up buying the
Missha BB Cream in No. 31. It is the darkest shade produced of the BB creams, since most are made for light skinned people. The tinted moisturizer is surprisingly thick and blends well with my skin tone. Sometimes, I like mixing my Nars foundation to give my skin a more natural appearance.
So far, this one is a keeper too!
I went to Target to grab a couple of candles and ended up buying three. One, I gave to my sister as for the other, I have lit up right now.
The last candle, pictured here, is not my favorite. It's one of those scents that smells good at the store, but once its lit up, your lungs suffocate of stinkiness. Gosh, I wished I liked it more. It's that damn packaging that fooled me. Y U GOTTA BE SO PWRETTY?!
Due to my insurrmountable spendings, I decided to make my own "piggy bank". The piggy banks at Target were too expensive. *sigh* Plus, it would totally defeat the purpose of me saving.
I spray-painted an empty energy drink mix jar. My dad used this cool technique of firing up a knife to cut the slit on top. He looked like a blacksmith!
Anywho, I just loooove this color. I already feel golden!
Okay, that is all. Now I am going to make my insomnia worthwhile by continuing my late night Doctor Who marathon, ehem, I mean, parrrtying till the break of dawn!

P.S. Nemo says hi.
