I believe that experience design is really the art of telling a story. You need to connect with people in meaningful ways, be honest and transparent, and make sure that every element of your organization operates in harmony. Done right, it is the total "essence" of a company or organization.
I use this viewpoint in my work as the Web & Mobile User Experience Manager for Wolfram Research & Wolfram|Alpha. Our technology is amazing, and it's an incredible opportunity to be able to improve our customers' interactions with us. In my spare time, I'm also creating & executing a few UX strategies for small businesses/start-ups.
Collaborated with executive stakeholders to define business requirements and project goals. Created user scenarios, performed competitive analyses, developed concept maps, designed interactive wireframes and prototypes, and compiled specification documents for websites, mobile applications, desktop software, and offline experiences. Designed and administered moderated usability tests, and analyzed raw analytic data software projects.

Served as project manager for the launch of the217.com, a new arts & entertainment site, handling all logistics and hiring/training staff. Managed a team of 10 editors to schedule daily content for this site with nearly 500,000 annual visits.
Managed and trained a team of 15 producers, assistant producers, and interns who produced 10-20 original weekly commercial spots from conception and development through production.
Consistently ranked as one of the top sales staff; responsible for over $40,000 in customer sales per month.
