Dancefloor Encounters is back at it again with our second release! When we think of LA, the first thing that comes to mind is beaches, mansions, and upbeat vibes. For Calvin James, aka Rhythm Operator, the streets are what are seen. Deep, groovy vibes which bring out the spirit of the streets and the people who walk them, while maintaining his ideals of passion, truth, and rhythm for the soul. This being said, we are proud to present to you the Can't Let Go EP.

Can't Let Go sets the mood with it's dark bassline, and dubby vocals, reminiscing those sleepless nights of not wanting to let go the dance floor.

We're taken back in time with Back In The Days, providing a bouncy organ bass, melancholic arps, and guitar riffs, Back In The Days is one to groove out to, nice and slow.

On Remix duties, Heion steps up to the plate with a slo-mo deep house groover, dubbing out his version with a combination of warmth and deepness that will really take you on a journey back in the day.

Last but not least, rising Swedish stars Monitor 66 swing things into high gear, with precision vocal chops, stunning arps, and a wobbly bassline that will leave you getting down for all time!

Dancefloor Encounters is a record label/medium for artists and producers to release their music, as well as experiment and broaden their horizon with variety and out of the box thinking. Dancefloor Encounters was founded in 2012 by Shawn Mac (Co-producer of Casual Encounters). With this being said, I am very proud to announce the labels first release, a sampler, Welcome to the Dancefloor!

We've all had many encounters and experiences on a wide range of dancefloors, whether it's new friends, lovers, or just your good ole fashion shake down. The Welcome to the Dancefloor Sampler provides four tracks that will definitely have you moving after the first listen and help reminisce, plan, and for-see the act of moving our joints and bodies which we know as dancing.

Casual Encounters team up with their Ghostly International/Adult Contemporary buddy, Producer/DJ veteran The Beat Broker, laying down a smooth piece of synth heaven, For The Win, combined with a deep vibrant bassline, and to top it off with dubby vocals from the lovely Evie.

Upcoming Swedish producer Eric Timpleton brings up the tempo with a deep, dark, yet delightful cut, High Density, while layering over the beats with melancholic vocals to really uplift the track and get you grooving and thinking at the same time.

Denver's Need & Necessity throw down a slab of Deep sub house, Waiting For You, with bouncing beats influenced from the good ole hip hop days, and chopped up vocals sprinkled throughout the track, you're sure to find a excuse just to get down to this.

Last but not least, LA's Rhythm Operator strikes again with a real groover, Take Me Back, reminiscent of 90's touch all over, lush stabs, grooving bass, and heavy delayed dubby vocals, who needs a time machine when you can get down to 90s vibes today!
