- OMG Tour!
I directed Usher's latest music video, 'More!', which you can watch above. I was on tour with Usher for the first half of the year filming the goings on during his World tour. OMG!
The first 4 gigs were cancelled due to Usher's ill health. In this video Usher reflects on some of the good times and bad:

MICHAEL JACKSON
- This Is It!When MJ was planning his comeback tour he needed someone to document his 50 date residency in London.Obviously he came to me to film all the backstage material for the feature film as well as editing daily web videos.Unfortunately Michael never made it to London, but I did meet and film him when he announced the tour at the O2 in March 2009.He was a lovely chap, very excited and, much to the annoyance of his security, was easily distracted and loved talking to fans and staff.Much of the footage I shot that day ended up in 'This Is It!' and if you look very carefully you can even see me in the background as MJ arrives at the O2.If you contact me I can show you the very first and only web video I made. It was due for release just before the first gig and has consequently never been seen.

PRINCE
- 21 Nights in LondonIn 2007 the artist currently known as PRINCE came to London to perform 21 shows at London's O2 arena.Earlier that year I received an hilarious email that said, 'this may sound like a joke, but Prince wants you to film his next tour'That Summer I filmed backstage and live footage at 21 Prince arena gigs and 20 after show parties as well as countless public appearances and other events while he was in the UK.Later that year I went to Paisley Park to discuss making a feature length documentary about the tour. 28 WEEKS LATER
- The End is NighI have made countless documentaries about film making: Sunshine, Sleuth, Son of Rambow, Peter and the Wolf......But I think my most innovative work was done on 28 Weeks Later.I filmed lots of behind the scenes material, but I didn't want to make the usual promotional fluff....you know the sort....'the director was great, the actors were great, this was how we did the make-up, yawn'. Instead I created a series of virals that acted more as teaser trailers for the film.I was also keen to shoot some drama, so I proposed making 5 short films set in the world of 28 Weeks later to the films producer Andrew Macdonald. - UnearthingI've been working with Alan Moore, Lex records and the photographer Mitch Jenkins on a couple of projects with Alan Moore recently.First I was asked to edit the audio for Alan's musical project, Unearthing.It's an amazing piece. Buy it now from theLex Records Online Shop.Since then I made the visuals for the live performance which took place at the amazing underground arches beneath Waterloo station, and I am presently working on a DVD release of Unearthing.

- Making of DocumentaryOne of my favourite pieces of work is the documentary I made for the Blu-Ray release of Trainspotting.Not only is Trainspotting one of my favourite films, but this documentary marked the first time Ewan has spoken officially about the film since the late nineties.Here's a rather badly compressed excerpt I found on youtube.
