Artichokes. The first artichokes of the season, here in Milan. They come from Sardinia and you can find them at the market during the whole winter season. 

Risotto with leeks, pancetta and some rosemary flavor.

Leeks from the garden. It was very cold, it was snowing but leeks are always there, mid December. I picked up three of them and I made a warm “risotto” with a little bit of pancetta and Arborio rice.
