Al Punto interview with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor - my favorite quotes:
“La educación abre no solamente las oportunidades de trabajo pero las oportunidades de crecer como un ser humano” on the importance of education.
“Uno no puede pensar como llegue a este momento, lo que uno tiene que pensar es, que voy a hacer con este momento” regarding opportunities in life.
“Tengo un carácter fuerte, a mi… you don’t push me around” responding to Jorge’s question regarding being called a tough “B.”
“El valor es en tener orgullo en lo que uno es” about being proud and for her, “that you be tough.”

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos appeared on ABC tonight for just 5 minutes to talk about the Hispanic vote - and his name immediately trended on Twitter.
My mom was only a kiddo when the first man landed on the moon. So it’s an honor to be able to learn/remember in words, photos and videos history being made via amazing mothers, teachers, journalists and new media. Below some nuggets I came across today as we remember Neil Armstrong. This is why I LOVE social media.

Video of the week: President Barack Obama singing ‘Sexy and I Know It’ by LMFAO
By CONZ PRETI
Channel: Media
If LMFAO thought they had reached the peak of celeb status when they performed next to Madonna at the Super Bowl halftime show, they were wrong.
YouTube user baracksdubs has created a remix where President Obama “sings” the LMFAO anthem “Sexy and I Know it.” Don’t believe us? Just click play and let the President prove our point.
But the user hasn’t stopped there. He also put together a version of President Obama singing “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga and “Drink to That” by Rihanna.
According to the description of the videos, the user will be uploading new songs throughout the year. Which song do you think will be next?
