Senior UX Designer at Globo.com
Internet | Rio de Janeiro Area, Brazil, BR
I'm passionate for products that, through design and technology, improve people's lifes in some way. I'm 10+ years experience on design and development for web, and had the opportunity to manage products and lead UX teams — but always keeping hands on design and development.
Design is my specialty, from user scenarios, personas, flows and research techniques up to the interface and visual design. On my latest projects, I have worked on cross-device experiences, with both responsive and native app approaches. I also have experience on product strategy and management, being responsible for releases plans, MVP definitions, prototype development, metrics analysis and product development iterations.
Currently, I work in the UX team of Globo.com, where I have worked on the design of Globo's main products of news, entertainment and sports (G1, TVG and Globoesporte). Previously, I had worked at Terra Networks, where I served as a Product Owner in the development of a new product targeted to the global market, with a team of Telefónica, allocated in Barcelona, from its inception to its launch.
I started designing for communication on web, working at AG2 Publicis Modern - currently one of the top 3 digital agencies in Brazil, and there I led a team of information architects in projects for companies like General Motors, Unilever, Bradesco Banking, among others.
Also, I was a co-founder and product design director at Eventials.com, a product for online streaming of events and courses, that was funded by Locaweb Group and now is on rapid growth. Nowadays, I'm their advisor on product development and design.
I started my career as a web developer, and I still look forward to staying up to date with new technologies and development patterns. Many years working with agile methodologies, developing products in a iterative and incremental way without losing product vision.
