I’m very excited to hear about a new Chieftains album, especially since it includes so many artists I admire: The Civil Wars, Bon Iver, The Decemberists, Punch Brothers, Lisa Hannigan. It’s somewhat remarkable how this group of traditional Irish musicians have been able to venture into more modern genres without losing their authenticity. Enjoy the Bon Iver collaboration on “Down in the Willow Garden” from the new record.
