I guess I always forget that Orkut is still not only viable but popular in other parts of the world than the one I live in. Largest ever object put into quantum state - http://www.nature.com/news...Cannot get my head around this any better now that we're talking something at close to our scale. And I assume this is an extreme simplification: "Through a series of careful measurements, they were able to show that the paddle was both vibrating and not vibrating simultaneously." Isn't an essential part that as soon as it's measured it flips to one or the other state? - Chuck Falzone -

(TNR) - http://www.tnr.com/article...I am certainly with Lawrence Lessig in his intent here, but he must know the long uphill slog he'd face getting the Constitution amended like this. So what's going on? Is he taking an extreme position so that "middle ground" lands squarely on his side of the argument? Just trying to continue the conversation around this issue? Or is it a recognition that given the Consitution as it is, the long haul to an amendment is the only way to truly address the issue? - Chuck Falzone -

Thoughts on Community Management - http://thomashawk.com/2010...I think the interaction by engineers like DeWitt Clinton (and he's hardly the only one) along with the relative speed that changes based on feedback have been rolling out says that a Buzz Community Manager is not specifically needed for that purpose at present. The unmediated participation by those working on the project has value until they can't keep up. Where a specific community manager for Buzz could be useful, tho, is in handling spammers/scammers/etc. Right now we report as spam to essentially a black box and sort of hope it gets handled. - Chuck Falzone -

The correct url is /phone. /Phones returns a 404.
