Has anyone on my t-list transferred a domain name to Namecheap? Was it smooth?

I kind of want to transfer my domain name from Dreamhost to Namecheap, but I'm a bit scared that something might go wrong.

Had one tutorial today and that's it. I'm free! :D I do have a rather important application I need to write for a fanlisting.

Idk if my boyfriend and I are even going to do anything for Valentine's Day. I hate this day and he's got lab work until 5pm.

Lecture in 50 minutes, then off to work on a tutorial for tomorrow. Not fun. :(
