Television and media act as corporate slogan madrasas that indoctrinate and collate future product disciples into obedient purchasing-classes.

Stages of Faith by James Fowler

Stage 6: Universalizing faith is exceedingly rare. The persons best described by it have generated faith compositions in which their felt sense of an ultimate environment is inclusive of all being. They have become incarnators and actualizers of the spirit of an inclusive and fulfilled human community. They are “contagious” in the sense that they create zones of liberation from the social, political, economic and ideological shackles we place and endure on human futurity. Living with felt participation in a power that unifies and transforms the world, Universalizers are often experienced as subversive of the structures (including religious structures) by which we sustain our individual and corporate survival, security and significance. Many persons in this stage die at the hands of those whom they hope to change. Universalizers are often more honored and revered after death than during their lives. The rare persons who may be described by this stage have a special grace that makes them seem more lucid, more simple, and yet somehow more fully human than the rest of us. Their community is universal in extent. Particularities are cherished because they are vessels of the universal, and thereby valuable apart from any utilitarian considerations. Life is both loved and held to loosely. Such persons are ready for fellowship with persons at any of the other stages and from any other faith tradition.

A disposable society is only fit for disposable people. ~Bryant McGill

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.
- George Washington Carver

Publicity and transparency scatter the strong, powerful agents of control into the shadows. Like all cowards, brutes in any number flee when their spell of fear has no effect.

Identify Yourself

What is your title?
What is your occupation?
How do you occupy yourself?
Are you occupied?
Who is the occupier?
Does the occupier have rules?
Do you perform the occupier’s bidding?
Where is the sovereign space of your self?
If not within you, then where?
Hi. Nice to meet you. What do you do?
Identify yourself.
Tell me about freedom…

Quitting a job can be like an exorcism where you cast out a demon. The demon is the foreign spirit who occupies you through your occupation.

In the fury and sweat; beating breath and blood,
for a moment, they left all dimensions, to the void.
And therein the cosmic heart of nothingness, they found again,
a tender splinter of one soul united.
Like a germ seed of creation; to explode from their chests,
like a budding cosmic flower—
To become the universe once again, so they could be born,
and find each other, for this moment…

Marketing horse shit…

William Kunstler, Talks about the Chicago Conspiracy Trial, the Black Panther Party, the right to self defense.

“And that is the terrible myth of organized society, that everything that’s done through the established system is legal — and that word has a powerful psychological impact. It makes people believe that there is an order to life, and an order to a system, and that a person that goes through this order and is convicted, has gotten all that is due him. And therefore society can turn its conscience off, and look to other things and other times.

And that’s the terrible thing about these past trials, is that they have this aura of legitimacy, this aura of legality. I suspect that better men than the world has known and more of them, have gone to their deaths through a legal system than through all the illegalities in the history of man.

Six million people in Europe during the Third Reich? Legal.

Sacco Vanzetti? Quite legal.

The Haymarket defendants? Legal.

The hundreds of rape trials throughout the South where black men were condemned to death? All legal.

Jesus? Legal.

Socrates? Legal.

And that is the kaleidoscopic nature of what we live through here and in other places. Because all tyrants learn that it is far better to do this thing through some semblance of legality than to do it without that pretense.”

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.

Each day we wake in the morning with a thought in our minds. This thought, whatever it may be, sets the tone for the rest of the day. This is not always a good thing as we may wake up in a rush for work or school, with a hangover, feeling depressed or generally in a state of confusion. Therefore it is a good idea to learn how to create an original thought to begin each day, and to make the day a perfect expression of your original thought.

I have proof that affirmations work! my sister and I did an affirmation that I would win a trip to Jamaica, and guess what? I just got back. Brilliant! — Les from London, England Many people over the years have asked me, “Anne Marie, how did you ever get started on the path of doing and teaching Affirmations?” I tell them it grew out of a very negative situation. My first husband Al was an alcoholic. I decided I had only three choices: drink with him; take the kids and leave him, or find other interests. I quickly decided that drinking with him was not an option as I was not interested in drinking and my children already had one alcoholic parent and certainly did not deserve or need another one, so that option was ruled out. Option two was to take the kids and leave. After spending some time checking, I discovered that not one member of my family was in a position to take care of us, and in those days, it was very difficult to find a place that would take in a mother and two children. So I decided to go for the third option: finding other interests. I took up meditation, yoga, reflexology, astral traveling, creative visualization, writing, and much, much more. My quest and thirst for knowledge led me to some positive thinking books and Affirmations. I was so intrigued; I started doing Affirmations, half wondering if they would really work. I was amazed at what happened in my life. My Affirmations started coming true. No, my husband did not stop drinking, but I did change the way I viewed him; he sensed this change and some things did improve in our home. I have used Affirmations in every part of my life and could not imagine my life without them! Out of a negative situation, I learned about Affirmation Power and how to use it. I now feel it is my place in life to help those who wish to learn how to use this extraordinary power. Little did I know back then that this would lead to me becoming an Affirmation Coach and ‘The Affirmation Doctor.’ Now I thank Al for being one of my very important teachers. I believe we are all students and teachers and that we all learn from each other. “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”
