…the vast majority of people conform to whatever is normal for the time. They play the role allotted to them. At certain points in history it may be fashionable to be different and rebellious, but if a lot of people are playing that role, there is nothing different or rebellious about it.
Robert Greene

Two of my favorites by Hugh MacLeod - The Gaping Void

Push

I’m just getting started.

Forget half-hearted.

No stoppin.

Won’t settle.

Keep pushin.

On that pedal.

Chasin dreams.

On the pursuit.

No lookin back.

No parachute.

Gonna make it happen.

Road block snappin.

Checkin off my list.

They grabbin at my wrist.

Can’t hold me down.

Not right now.

I’m onto the next.

Gonna reach that apex.

Not waiting for later.

Life is short.

Goin ‘round the globe.

Stampin my passport.

I’m makin the most.

Two words.

Keep pushin.

Don’t coast.

“It’s Haltime in America” by Wieden + Kennedy.

This country can’t be knocked out with one punch.  We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines.”

If you don’t know what you want, you end up with a lot you don’t.
