- 1999 - 2001Network Consultant / TechsoftSupport and maintain multiple networks, ranging in size from a small three office LAN with some ISDN access, to a county wide WAN for the Santa Rosa County School District. Administer Exchange 5.5 servers, multiple BDC's acting as DHCP servers, two DNS servers, and multiple WINS servers. Help support the Data Processing staff technicians as problems with NT and Windows 95 arise. Help plan new network configurations and implementations for the future. Test new software and operating systems for the district.
- 1998 - 1999Technical Trainer / New Horizons Computer Learning CenterInstructed over 1000 happy clients in the proper use of a wide variety of Networking and Desktop Operating Systems, Office Productivity and Graphic Design software, usually with very little time for preparation, in both a lab classroom environment and at the clients’ location. Achieved Instructor of the Month for June 1998 and March 1999. Achieved higher than a 9 overall average evaluation score for each quarter as determined by the clients. Was appointed the Classroom Load Supervisor, responsible for ensuring that the correct classes were loaded into the proper rooms in a timely manner. Developed written procedures for loading certain software for new incoming instructors, saving time and effort and reducing frustration. Modified the first Trimester schedule for 1999. Wrote the booklet for an Introduction to Scanning Course. Developed the logo and business cards for a child company.
- 1995 - 1998National Technical Advisor / Express Print InternationalWrote most of the HiMarx Franchisee Technical Manual. Developed the Training Outline for new Franchisees. Trained new Dealers over the phone and trained Franchisees in person. Kept the Technical department down to two people, though dealer base grew from 130 dealers to over 500 within 2 years. Conducted numerous training sessions in two annual conventions for the Dealer Base. Provided technical support and software "how to" support over the phone to over 500 dealers over a two year period. Designed instructional material in support of those Dealers and Franchisees. Translated proprietary documents into PDF files for use on a Franchisee Support web-site, disabling the modification of the data to preserve the integrity of the Franchise system. Designed miscellaneous forms for a Business Opportunity/Franchise company. Researched and wrote monthly technical reports for the Dealers. Researched / developed new technologies, software and procedures for the Dealer base and for the Franchise.
- 1991 - 1991Front of House Audio Engineer / US Army Soldier ShowPlayed 43 military installations and 8 cities, as well as 4 shows in Panama. Played Six Flags over Georgia and The Grand Ol' Opry. Helped build the sets and rebuild the speakers prior to starting the tour. Mixed the band for the Front of House (the audience) and mixed monitors for the entire ensemble when the monitor board had issues the day of the show.
