Big Heart Group develops a style of multidisciplinary performances, mixing dance, theater and music. The combination of symbolism, poetry, absurd and humor creates a one of a kind style of theater, bold and profound.
Big Heart Group deals with the main subject of inter-personal human relationships and their obstacles.
Through performances, workshops and conferences, Big Heart Group develops a philosophy and work based on the concept of societal innovation.

Nathalie Broizat creates a strong, thought-provoking, and unique union of dance and theater. Here themes –such as love- are universal in their appeal, yet personalized, connecting to the viewers’ own experiences. It is remarkable that Mrs. Broizat can communicate the realness of her subject while not staging a literal story per se. The movements themselves are the conveyors of meaning. Ms. Broizat has very deliberately worked out certain movements by applying Laban’ theory of the expressive qualities that movements acquire through variations and phrasing of the elements of Weight, Space, Time and Flow (which Laban summed up as “Effort”). By developing these very specific and dramatically expressive movement sequences, Ms. Broizat captures the mood and state of being that people experience in these times of life, thereby lending the authentic sense of universality to her work.
Ms. Broizat usually works by creating movement that she manipulates with subtle changes in Effort, Phrasing, Shape and other aspects of Laban Movement Analysis to imbue the mood, expression, or state of mind she is after. This finely crafted movement feeds the emotions and feeling to the performer. This approach invariably gives a more genuine experience for the performer and audience, as opposed to trying to create the emotions and feelings in one’s mind and moving from there. An actor or dancer can thereby move in very specific ways and have the movements create a state of mind.
Ms. Broizat accomplished this as both performer and choreographer/director. The meanings of her works are clear and accessible to her audiences. Ms. Broizat’s development of this approach reflects a very authentic mastery of Laban’s theories (particularly “Effort”) and a very original mind that was able to create a methodology on the foundation of these theories.

With "Thaw," Nathalie Broizat deftly delivered the evening's humor: She, Columbine-cheeked and skittering, discovers her dining table is an animated cylinder -- Jason Jenn -- that rolls around the floor to Vivaldi before slyly revealing itself as a fox in this charming nod to commedia dell'arte.
Victoria Looseleaf, the LA Times

ENCORE L’AMOUR! is a box of fancy chocolates, all wrapped up pretty in a bow, and hand delivered to your door unexpectedly by the most attractive of messengers. At first, you are overwhelmed by the grandiosity of your new gift. But as you tear open the wrapping, and try each confection, you find that each truffle and treat has wondrous magic inside. Your hunger, desire, and curiosity increase exponentially with each bite.
Nathalie Broizat and Jean-Paul Monsche have built an amazing evening of movement and music musing on love, loss, regret, redemption, and letting go. Each vignette was a fully thought out meditation on different aspects of love: romantic love, the love of friends and family, the love of music, lust, the love of movement, of self expression, and at its core, the joy of love itself.
Each member of their ensemble exhibited top notch physical control, exuding a unique, open, inviting, and expressive presence.
