Friends of Brad

The Friends of Brad Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization which aims to honor the memory of a talented friend and percussionist, Brad Rozman, and to support young, Minnesota musicians. 

Doula

I am a volunteer doula for the amazing Homeless Prenatal Program in San Francisco.  I am fascinated by the immense magnitude of changes that humans undergo during the birth process.  I enjoy the opportunity to serve mothers and families at such an important time in their lives.  

However, I am concerned that birth is still generally treated as pathological by medical professionals in the U.S. and this has significant negative ramifications for maternal, infant, and social health.  I firmly believe that every woman should be lovingly supported to have the best birth possible, and I believe proper support during childbirth can empower women to realize their potential both as humans and as mothers.
