Green Energy of SA provides “The World’s Most Powerful Reflective Insulation” to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. They usually setup a booth in local home shows to promote their amazing products and BlackStone Studio has designed and printed this new Retractable Banner for them to use for that purpose.
Retractable banners are great for home shows or trade shows! The setup takes only a few seconds and the vinyl banner rolls into the base so it fits great in its portable bag. The base and the bag are always included for free! Contact me for a quote!

This week, BlackStone Studio launched a new blog for San Antonio photographer Nicole Hatter. Nicole already has a photography website, but she contacted me to help her out with a blog. She was using Blogger and wanted to make a switch to a new custom designed WordPress blog where she could showcase her most recent photo sessions at a larger scale. Laila Facusse is not only a good friend of mine, but she is also a great personal trainer and a Zumba® Fitness instructor. She recently asked BlackStone Studio do a photo session with her because her passion is to help people achieve their fitness goals, and in order to do that she transformed her own body to inspire others and show them everything is possible! BlackStone Studio launched a new website last week for Service Shade, a local family owned company that has been providing San Antonio consumers quality window coverings for any style and budget for over 80 years. With two locations, Service Shade Shop and Service Shade Gallery, they offer both commercial and residential services. Check out their new website at www.ServiceShade.com
Last weekend, BlackStone Studio had the pleasure of taking some family photos of the Ramos Family. Our photo session was done while they enjoyed a day at a Pumpkin Patch. John and Dana Ramos have the most adorable kids! It was so fun to take pictures of these cute and loving siblings with each other, and with their mom and dad. Choosing a color palette for a logo, a website or any design project can go from fun to frustrating very quickly. Finding a great color combination can be difficult for anyone, it doesn’t matter if you are working on a design project, picking out paint colors for a room, or matching the colors on an outfit. Color can grab your attention or make you want to look away. It can provoke emotion and it can affect your mood.
People sometimes assume that as a graphic designer you always know which colors work best together, and although designers usually do have a better understanding of color, we can also sometimes get stuck trying to find the right color palette for a project.
There are so many online tools on the web that provide color inspiration. Below are three easy, free and fun tools I thought I’d share with you today. Enjoy!
Hopefully these tools will help you choose the right colors for your next project. Feel free to share any online tools or websites you use to find color inspiration by leaving a comment below!
