Azlan Entertainment presents Noah Issa e.p.
Release date January 2012
Noah Issa’s forthcoming EP featuring 5 Tracks from this Singer/Songwriter and producer who is blazing a path for young Jamaican musicians.
At 19 years old, Noah Issa embodies the talent, confidence and passion reserved for older seasoned musicians. Growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, Noah began composing music at age 12. From there his love for music continued to grow, as did his musical ability. As Noah was evolving as a musician, his creations began to develop a unique sound. In 2007 he went on to compose the Brazilian Wax Riddim and Carrot Oil Riddim, which were both released that summer featuring several major dancehall artists.
Soon Noah found his own voice and started making his own unique brand of music, writing and singing his own songs, as well as producing them, in control of every single aspect of the creation process. “I don’t limit myself to any one genre, I like to experiment” says Noah. Every song in his current collection is a unique intoxicating blend of musical styles, weaving clever, poetic lyrics with hypnotic catchy melodies, it is clear that Noah does not rush his work.
The versatility in Noah’s music is particularly impressive. His current collection consists of soulful acoustic tracks like “Playground”, which starts with Noah’s beautiful guitar work, and then develops with soft melodic vocals. Noah sings about the importance of stepping outside of the box as well as the loneliness of being an outsider, along with several other themes. Another track which cannot be left out is Noah’s electro house track “Twisted”, which is somewhat of a psycho sexual journey backed by an explosive club beat. With its fresh, flavorful lyrics and its heavy bassline, it’s no wonder that it has began to receive some attention locally and overseas.
In this generic wilderness that we call the Music World, Noah is a breath of fresh air. Heartfelt, complex and cutting edge, Noah Issa’s music is definitely building a solid steady momentum out there.
