When in service, I support schools across New York City in designing and implementing successful Autism education programs through district-wide workshops and school-based visits.
Before that, I taught upwards of 70 students a week as a computer cluster teacher for students on the Autism Spectrum in a specialized school in NYCDOE's Citywide Program.
Prior to joining the NYCDOE, I worked for a leading educational software publisher, specializing in: 1) training and coaching teachers on implementing instructional technology in the classroom; 2) supporting teacher training organizations and schools of education; and 3) software-based social studies curriculum design.

Reblog, yo.
Essentially, this is just a shopping link. Start on Jacket’s guest link here and free money will build into her college fund. It’s actually the opposite of “You Promise”, it’s more like “You Might, Maybe, One day Click Before You Shop If You Can Remember Where You Put the Damn,…
Check out these amazing rock people that Harriet and Ara painted for Jacket and me.
Love, love, love.
Shorts, vintage. Pinafore, @araroden. Pose, unprompted. (Taken with Instagram)
Pinafore! Dressed for Harriet’s third birthday party, no less.
I woke up at 3 the morning we were leaving on vacation. I drank coffee, finished packing and sewed two scarves into a billowy shirt.
Felt Necklace
Been experimenting with using felt scraps on necklaces.
Have tons of felt scraps, lots of broken necklace chains. It’s super easy. Harriet likes it. We’ll see.
Pinafore Dress for Harriet
It’s upcycled from a maternity chambray dress of mine. (We are done having children, you hear.)
Will she wear it? Yes, by god. I’ll make her wear it at least once for every time she has me read Beatrix Potter’s “The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.” (A story about a farm-girl who loses her hankies and a pinafore only to find that a washer-woman has found and laundered them, along with other articles of clothing about which Potter goes into detail. The laundress, we find out, is actually a hedgehog in disguise. It’s riveting.)
Starting today.
Clark’s Birthday Cake and mini-cupcakes. I COMPLETELY forgot to get photos of the larger egg-in-nest cupcakes.
