Dr. Andrew Florea

Growing up, Dr. Andrew Florea admired his father, a doctor who invested great care in the treatment of his patients. While his father 's dedication served as the inspiration for Dr. Andrew Florea in launching his own medical career, his decision to specialize in otolaryngology also stemmed from a desire to alleviate his patients’ problems through surgery.

Attending the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Andrew Florea graduated summa cum laude with his degree in biology before attending Loma Linda University School of Medicine in pursuit of his Doctor of Medicine. At Loma Linda, Dr. Andrew Florea continued to achieve academically, earning membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following a year of general surgery training, Dr. Andrew Florea began a four-year residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Andrew Florea has additionally received advanced training in laryngology and facial plastic surgery by completing two separate fellowships in these subspecialties.

Working in his private practice based in Southern California’s Inland Empire, Dr. Andrew Florea helps people struggling with ear, nose, and throat problems as well as voice and swallowing disorders. He also provides facial rejuvenation treatments. Through 2006, Dr. Andrew Florea and his wife engaged in medical mission trips to Romania in order to help individuals in less prosperous countries lacking quality health care.

Also contributing to otolaryngology research, Dr. Andrew Florea writes and publishes articles in medical journals and periodicals. His publications include "Vocal Fold Injection via Microlaryngoscopy" and "Recurrent Respitory Papillomatosis," a chapter in the book Operative Techniques of Otolaryngology. Dr. Andrew Florea has recently completed and submitted two new articles that are slated for publication.
