I just want to share to you guys how I'm SO into fashion. I love fashion... who doesn't? Even some people, especially girls, deny that fact, everybody still got their own sense and style. It's given. It will always be there.
Well, let's start with some history class 'bout my style:
I was once a fan of emo and scene fashion. Then I turned into a gothic angel, kind of stayed there, but ended up being the wife of 'vintage' and 'glam rock'. The funny thing is I wasn't really able to invest in fashionable clothes that would fit any style I want because of financial constraints (until now). That's the thing keeping me away from my fashion fantasies and dreams.
That's actually fine with me. I've accepted that fuck. It doesn't matter! I still love fashion even though I couldn't apply it to myself. Sometimes I just put them into words, drawings and apply my so-called fashion styling skills in some online fashion tools.
Someday, I dream of being a fashion stylist, not a designer. That would be harder. I bet you already know the difference between the two. Someday, I dream of seeing my closet full of clothes that I REALLY want to wear like all the time. Someday, when would that be?
I'll just end this with this:
| My Taylor Momsen-inspired boots. Only worn once (last year's bday celeb) |
I would like to share to you a very cute video of our kittens. They're actually older now and they play a lot! They just look too cute when their eyes are still closed. What do you think about them? :3
You should know that their birth interval is more than one day.
I'm posting this very cool and fun song of Taylor Swift entitled "22" I'm featuring two videos: one is its official music video and the other is a really great live performance from her.
I'm really not a Taylor Swift fan, but I'm digging her songs, man! And since I'm turning 22 this year, I might as well make a song and guitar cover of this song and upload it on YouTube on my birthday. It really seems like a great idea, right? I just love the message of the song! I could sing this, teehee. I'll be sharing the lyrics below the videos as well. :)
Anyways, here's the music video. I really like it because of the vintage and fun vibes:
When you search "meaning of jack of all trades" on Google, you'll get this result:
Whew, the first night of American Idol's Sudden Death Round on Las Vegas was really breathtaking! The first half of the Top 20 girls performed and they were Jenny Beth Willis, Tenna Torres, Adriana Latonio, Brandy Hotard, Shubha Vedula, Kamaria Ousley, Kree Harrison, Angela Miller, Isabelle and Amber Holcomb.
Well, the ones who got through for the next round are (this won't be a spoiler at all, because I bet you know them already): Kree, Angela, Amber, Tenna and Adriana!
I'm going to highlight their performances here, but I gotta say (sorry for Tenna's fans) that it was only Tenna who didn't impress me much. The following are my reactions to each performance, in ascending order.
5. Tenna Torres
As I've said earlier, she didn't impress me much. Aside the fact that Nicki didn't like her hairstyle (I didn't like it, too), her performance isn't that flawless as compared to the others who got through. I liked how she put emotions in this performance, though. As what Randy said, this started the night, considering that she was the second to set on stage.
I bet many of us who have been watching American Idol Season 12 already have their own "idols" who they dream to take the spot. I gotta say I have mine now, too. I have my top 3 already and I based my choices according to their voices, over-all personalities and previous American Idol performances. These three, of course, belong to the just-declared Top 40 contenders who will go on to the next round in Las Vegas.
Update: After seeing the first night of the Sudden Death round, I think I will be going to change this list this soon...
Top 3 - Chris Watson
He's a "comeback" contestant. We all saw him on American Idol Season 7 and didn't make it to the top. I think that his cool personality and angelic voice would really give him an advantage in this season. I was just wondering if something changed on his gender preference. I don't care about it, I just wanna know because he definitely acts differently today than before. That doesn't matter actually. His voice is just great! The original judges actually liked him a lot. Take a look at his first audition on American Idol 7 below:
Last February 9 and 10, me, my friends and my baby had a really, really good time! We went to Nagsasa Cove - a wonderful, hidden treasure place in Zambales, Philippines. A lot of Filipinos may be familiar with Anawangin Cove and not with Nagsasa Cove. Well, there's no huge difference between those two places. Nagsasa Cove is just farther. Some people say that there are more activities that you can do in Anawangin, but I just don't care because I was satisfied with everything that we did in Nagsasa Cove - eat, walk on the beach, swim, eat, drink, sleep, eat, play cards, trek, eat and swim. Noticed how many times I mentioned 'eat'? Well, everything was made possible by Gone Wild Campers (GWC). One of my friends found GWC in the internet and contacted them through email. We were really lucky 'coz it was a good find! This is their itenerary for Nagsasa Cove. We didn't worry about everything aside from our toiletries, clothes, blankets and pillows. Yes, you read it right. We didn't worry about the food because GWC bought and cooked for us! We didn't worry about the transportation because GWC also provided us a private van. My friends and I owned the van, haha. We were the only ones inside. I was really happy to know that because I really thought that we would be sharing the van with other campers. So, yeah, we owned the van.

I told you guys how much I become really addicted to the song Boyfriend by RaeLynn of The Voice. And, here I am posting a video I uploaded on my YouTube Channel and it's me singing the song. There's really no emotional attachment, it's just that it feels so good to sing and play it on guitar. I'm probably getting more in love with New Country Music.
I don't know about this song, but this gets me all the time. The song, the singer and how she pronounces/sings every word really get me going. I love the melody and the tune. I'm not emotionally attached to this song, I just like it! I hope that's clear. Enjoy the video! I've provided the lyrics below as well.
I don't know what I was thinking, but I've created a new blog again. And, a new Google+ profile, too! I think I've decided on doing so because it's time to separate what's more serious and personal. I created this blog just for me to have "someone" to talk about things I can't really say so I'd have to categorize this blog as the personal one. My newly created blog at WordPress is the "more serious" I'd say. I decided to name my new blog InsideUrHead because I plan on creating content that will be educational or viral or something that will really get inside someone's head. I just created a new post about a live music video and of course, it's about my favorite band - The Pretty Reckless. There will be a lot of topics which generally consist of How Tos, Videos, Business, Nature and Animals and Movie Reviews.
What's the real reason why I created another Google+, btw? Well, if you're familiar with the so-called Author Rank, then you should probably know by now. This blog, Black Cat Blogging, wasn't associated with any Google+ profile of mine since I've been using a different email for this ever since. My real Google+ profile is supposed to be my only profile because I want to see one Google+ link whenever I search for my real name. Yes, it works and I want it to stay that way so I changed my name on my new profile to Le Li. Well, that's still me since "Leli" is one of my nicknames (although I prefer Lei). The "Le Li" profile is now associated with this blog. And the real Google+ profile is associated with my new blog.
My real Google+ already has a reasonable number of people revolving around in circles so I've decided to associate it to my serious blog - InsideUrHead. Well, in short, I just really wanna have that Author Rank "look" in Google Search for both of my blogs.
If you wanna see how this Author Rank works with my two blogs, then look at the screenshots below. I used the very useful webmaster tool of Google they call Structured Data Testing Tool. If you have a blog or a website, you can see for yourself and try. Here's how it works with mine:

I finally got the chance to complete my About.me page. I'll provide a screenshot below but it's better if you'll just visit my page. I have plans regarding its background image but I'm just gonna do it next time. I'm kind of like satisfied with it right now.
If you're not familiar with About.me, then here's a quick description: It's something like an online business card where you can link all your social media accounts instead of phone numbers and e-mails. It's interactive as well. You can have an idea if you know Flavors.me as well. Its slogan says, "THE EASIEST AND MOST STYLISH WAY TO CREATE A UNIFIED WEB PRESENCE." I have a page there, too, but I prefer customizing my About.me.
If you have an About.me page as well, please take time to add me to your faves or simply just connect or compliment it. And, if you don't have one, I suggest you create yours now because it's really cool and fun. It's a great way to show off who you really are! It's easy setting it up and I assure you that your creativity will really show. I'll provide you with some inspirations here. You can also have the option to embed everything that's in it on your website or blog. I did it here and I placed it on the lower left side. Thanks. xoxo
That is the code I needed to submit this blog to Technorati. I just don't get it. Why do we, bloggers, need to do that?
Despite of the "cat" tragedy that we're currently experiencing, I think it's also better to show and tell how contented I am with my life right now.
Five minutes before my birthday and I'm still recuperating on everything that has happened and has been happening now.
I'll just list 21 things that I'm really grateful for the last 20 years I've been living in this great, big and wild world. This list is in no particular order.
That title is so unusual, right?
Well, that's the greatest gift I can have on my birthday. It really isn't. As cat-lovers out there may know, Feline Panleukopenia Virus, is the most INSIDIOUS cat disease. According to this site, it's the most highly infectious and quick-killing cat disease as well. On the other side, the people who know me must've know that tomorrow's my 21st birthday. I don't feel it, I really don't. I don't feel like celebrating as well.
So what's the point?
You should have a clue by now - that the disease that causes a "quick" death to cats (most probably to kittens) is also the main reason that I became not-so-excited-and-happy for my birthday. We have lots of cats in our house; the photo below will show.

No, this isn't the lyrics of Alicia Keys's song, you can find it here. But, I'm actually listenin' to this song while writing this. I didn't think that my post to catch up with this blog will be about heartbreak. I was actually planning to write about how well my life is going on right now before, or probably about our Bazooka Rocks experience, my favorite The Pretty Reckless songs, favorite performances and top contestants on The Voice Season 3 and so on and so forth. NO. I'm writing what's currently happening - my heart is breaking.
We're falling apart... I don't know why, but we're always fighting... like... everyday since I can't even remember when! I wonder when we'll gonna spend a day, a week, a month, a year not fighting again. You have issues and I have 'em too. Why don't we just accept all those things? If we do love each other, then let's admit all the things we don't like and accept them. I totally think our relationship lacks ACCEPTANCE. Our personalities are purely, truly, certainly and definitely NOT the same. We don't need to change. We're already fine and happy this way, right? We're opposite, and remember when we always say that "opposites attract each other"? They really do (for us), but it will just be true when we accept whatever's opposite of what we have. I don't need to tell here everything that has already happened and made me think this way because I'm still hopeful of getting back really together.
I just wanna end this post real fast 'coz I already wanna call you.. And, I'll end this with a famous saying about LOVE. Let's reflect on this. This isn't really my thing as I'm not religious (you know that), but this passage just came right to my mind and thought about us.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
-1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Yay, how should I start this? There are definitely many things that I'd like to do. Aside from the littlest things, I also wanna do some major changes in life. But first off, I'll start with the minor ones...
Me and baby have so much to do on the next few days and months! Like, tomorrow, we're going to meet someone to negotiate for a good deal for a house for rent! And then, we're gonna check out another one. We have to get back home to pack things for tonight. Actually, I'll help my baby pack stuff for I have already packed mine. I would need to withdraw money online, too! It'll be our allowance 'til next payday coz we're going to spend too much on the next days... And then we'll go ahead; withdraw from ATM and go directly to the mall to pay bills and buy tickets for the Bazooka Rock festival this coming September. We need to buy this instant because the tickets are on sale this month - June is yet to end so we need to hurry! Anyway, I'm going to have another post for that rock festival I'm talking about.
After going to the mall, we're going directly again to another one to bring my broken e-cig to the shop. Its battery doesn't work already, and it's a good thing that I still have warranty for it. Hopefully, we'll finish those things early and finally get to eat. We're planning to eat near that e-cig shop while waiting for a friend to join us to our journey going to a resort for our friend's birthday party! I'm really excited. :)
I hope we'll do those things perfectly.
I'm going to work now!;)
*update*
We only did three things yesterday: the house negotiation, checking out a different house, and going to our friend's birthday party. :( Those that we didn't manage to do are the most important. Bazooka Rock's tickets become more expensive this month. :(
