Wanna know one of the most dangerous things that causes businesses to fail?
You know you have to stand out of the crowd, but it’s so much easier said than done.
You have this dream in your head of how amazing your business will be: the financial freedom, doing work you LOVE and getting paid every step of the way – but unless you grasp how to stand out of the crowd, you’re stuck lacking customers, and (let’s face it) disappearing passion.
The truth is: your business should be so good at marketing and communication that it’s a no-brainer for potential customers to choose to do business with you time and time again.
But how do you do this? How do you market your business to stand out of the crowd and be first choice for your potential customers?
Well, today I have something very special for you. It’s a Chatty Tuesday video packed with SO MUCH VALUE.
You will learn:
the number one thing you need to focus on when it comes to building your brand
four amazing tips to optimize your website for sales, baby!
how to stop letting marketing paralyze you, and embrace modern marketing techniques
Watch this video and learn these techniques now by clicking here:
When it comes to business you have to remember to stay committed. Laziness and excuses get you NOWHERE! Remember the financial freedom we spoke about? Doing work you love and getting paid for it? It will not happen unless you take action.
Speaking of taking action … the more Chatty Tuesdays I create, the more I have realized that something vital is missing. And that something vital? I like to call it a Chatty Challenge. From now on you will receive a weekly task with each Chatty Tuesday video called a Chatty Challenge (I love alliteration)!
This weeks’ Chatty Challenge:
Come up with ten ideas to get your business in front of your target market.
I’m not going to lie to you. This exercise is going to be extremely hard, but I want you to know that we’re in it together and that you are FULLY capable of making it happen. Chatty Challenges are called challenges for a reason, and are here to make your business better. The most important thing I can tell you is: don’t put it off. Even if you have done a similar exercise before, I want you to know that doing it again after watching this video is going to spark new ideas and bring new concepts to light. So – GET IT DONE, MY FRIEND!
If you’re committed to being a success I want you to bite the bullet and leave a comment sharing at least one of your ten ideas. That ONE COMMENT is your commitment to the world that you are going to make your dream a reality.
Eager does not even come close to describing how anxious I am for the next chapter of my business to unfold and go live. I feel inspired and invigorated by everything that’s going on right now, by everything that I’m currently creating, and I’m just over-the-moon excited to share it with you all. As the pieces unfold, you can follow along the journey here.
All of this change and “rebirth” has me thinking a lot about perception. Not only the way we are perceived and the way our business is perceived, but the way we perceive the world and the “problems” we deal with day to day.
One of my favorite examples of this is money. It’s a subject that not many people feel comfortable discussing, but somehow I find the topic coming up again and again and I find it impossible to ignore.
I used to hate keeping track of how much money my business was making and spending. It used to stress me out, and I would always decide to take the easy route and avoid it altogether. What I’ve started to realize, though, is that all I needed was a shift in perspective.
If you struggle at all when it comes to dealing with the money that goes in and out of your business, take the time to watch this video. You can expect two amazing tips that I use myself, and if you follow through with them, you will notice a huge shift in the way you go about your day as a business owner, and a huge shift in your perception of money.
One of the biggest takeaways is at the end of the video, so make sure to watch it all the way through – and when you’re done, I hope you know that I really want to hear from you! Leave a comment and let me know what your thoughts are.
Do you struggle or strive when it comes to money management in your business? What takeaways did you get from this video? And if you have any suggestions on how to better manage money, scream it out, yo!
What have you been up to this week? I hope it’s been a productive one for you! Unfortunately for me, I’ve caught a cold and have found myself staying in bed and sleeping almost all day long. BOO :( !
It’s an exciting week, though, because the first of many changes in my business are being made. If you watch this week’s Chatty Tuesday video below you’ll learn all about it :)
But before we dive into that, does this sound like you:
* You’re obsessed with getting more Facebook likes, and you’ll never have “enough”.
* You promote your business on Facebook like crazy, never get many sales through it and are constantly wondering what you’re doing wrong!
* You’re disappointed by the lack of engagement on your page, and crave more.
* You feel like you’re trying really hard to market yourself, but you’re only marketing your business via Facebook – unknowingly using it as a crutch, because it gives you an excuse to say, “Well, yeah, I’m marketing my business but nothing’s working!”
If this sounds like you, you are going to really appreciate today’s video because you’re going to learn the four steps to effectively and efficiently marketing yourself on Facebook so that you can focus your marketing efforts in other areas, too!
Yes, I’m sharing with you the very tips I implement into my own Facebook page – you will LOVE them.
Watch this now:
So – what major “a-ha” moments did this video inspire? Tell me all about it in the comment section below!
Have a fantastic Tuesday, my friend, I can’t wait for what’s to come!
P.S. You can find my brand new Facebook page here!
Guess what? It was my birthday this weekend and I had an absolute blast! If you follow me on Instagram (@alexbeadon) you will have seen photo after photo of the events as they unfolded. Gotta love technology ;)
But, as with all birthdays, it forced me to take a look back over the past year and take note as to just how far I’ve come – especially with my business.
I look back at when I graduated from university and I remember all of the questions running through my head:
“is it wise for me to start a business right now?”
“am i doing the right thing?”
“should i really put myself out there?”
“am i good enough?”
“what if i make a fool of myself?”
If you have ever had any of these thoughts run through your mind, you are going to love this week’s Chatty Tuesday because it covers exactly what I would say to myself if I could go back in time and talk to myself when I was first starting out!
Check it out in full here:
“The truth is – it will never be perfect and if you wait for perfection or for the right time it will simply never come.” – @alexbeadon
So – what’s your business idea? I wanna hear all about it in the comments because that’s where all the magic happens, baby ;)
Have a blessed Tuesday, my friend, and know that YOU CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
Let’s be honest. I’m talking debt, dealing with customers, relationships, time, selling … it’s intense!
I know exactly what it’s like because I’ve been there.
If you feel like your vision for your future is unclear and confusing, if you feel like you’re not really capable of succeeding, and if you feel a disconnection in your relationship with yourself - you are going to LOVE this!
I have something special for you today that is going to give you the same three exercises I use whenever I feel like a huge, stinkin’ failure.
These are my secret weapons when it comes to keeping my mind in-check.
Here you have your three must-do exercises that will turn your negative attitude into a positive one right before your very eyes:
The first one is called “Meet Success” and it’s all about really getting to grips with your definition of success. This is one of my favorite exercises of all time.
I want you to write down every single thing you want in your life, and don’t hold back. I want you to dream big here! Write it down as if it’s already happened. The feelings, the experiences, the outcomes, EVERYTHING in the present tense, as if it’s happening today and you’re writing a diary entry. This will really help you identify what it is that you want.
Most people go their whole lives without clearly identifying what success would look like for them, and so “success” becomes this ambiguous, subjective goal. To have a clear, objective vision is so useful in ensuring that you’re going in the right direction.
You’ve got your eye on the ball, and through visualization it’s as though you are practicing for the big game. It’s as though you are preparing your body, mind and soul for what’s to come.
The second one “Believe in Success” involves knowing that you are capable of attaining the level of success you set for yourself. In the words of Charlie Sheen, “faith is for winners, hope is for losers.”
You have to have faith in yourself and know that you are 100% capable of making it happen - no matter what. Don’t feel like there isn’t a way, just look around because there always is.
I want you to think back in your lifetime to all of your big and small accomplishments, and I want you to list them out. When you’re done, look over your list and relish in that feeling of a job well done, I want you to remember all of the times you thought you couldn’t, but you did. Use that as confidence to keep you going.
For lack of a better phrase, man up and hustle.
The last exercise I want you to do is called “Me, my best friend.”
First, I want you to listen to the way you speak to yourself and then ask yourself if that’s how you would speak to your best friend.
No? I didn’t think so.
You need to support yourself in the same way a best friend would. Eliminate the negative stories you tell yourself like “I’m not good enough,” or “I’m not smart enough.”
Pretend that you’re already in the future, experiencing in live-time your definition of success. Then, write an encouraging and inspiring letter to who you are today. I like to call it a love letter from the future.
When you’re done with the letter, record it, and listen to it every morning to keep you uplifted, inspired, and motivated to stay on track with your goals and dreams.
Look – being an entrepreneur of any kind isn’t easy. It’s an uphill battle, especially at the beginning. But if having your own business, making your own rules, and creating the life of your dreams is what you really want, you have to stay true to it and follow through!
And if you’re sitting around wondering why you’re not rich and famous yet, change your routine up. Are you marketing on FB and it’s not working? TRY SOMETHING NEW. Albert Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
So – if you want different results? Try something new.
To every single problem you are experiencing, there IS a solution, it’s your job to find it. Do not let your emotions of fear, worry and self doubt stop you from achieving anything.
This week I want you to focus on at least one of these three exercises. Which one will it be? Let me know in the comment section below. I LOVE COMMENTS!
I WANT TO KNOW:
Will you be listing your dreams and goals to gain clarity on your vision?
Will you be listing your accomplishments and relishing in them?
Or will you be writing yourself a love letter?
When you’re done commenting I want you to think of a few people in your life who feel stuck, lost, or like a failure in their business. Share this video with them via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest - it may be the one video they need to watch to get back onto the fast track to success.

Do you ever feel uninteresting? Like you’re playing by the rules? Have you settled for the status quo?
And if so, do you feel like it’s affecting the success of your business?
I get email after email from business owners all over the world who feel “stuck”, and they don’t know how to break free from the paralyzing feeling.
Today I want to ask you one question that’s going to open your eyes and help take your business to the next level, and I’m also going to equip you with an unexpected mantra that’s going to give you much-needed guidance in every business task you do this week.
Are you ready for a heavy dose of inspiration? Watch this:
Now, lover, you know how much I love comments. Last week we reached 47 comments – let’s get more this week!
To help you out when deciding what to say in your comment, I’ve left you a few questions below. Answer them now:
Is your business drastically different from your competitors?
If not, tell us one thing you know needs improvement to be more unique!
Please, if you do anything today – ask yourself this ONE question:
Do your photos cause love at first sight reactions?
Do your photos make people stop and stare?
Do your photos turn viewers into clients?
Do people go on and on about how beautifully unique your images are?
Do the colors in your images WOWpeople?
Do you have customers who are addicted to getting their photo taken by you and keep coming back for more?
If not, you’re missing out. Images that cause love at first sight reactions result in:
There’s no two ways about it:If you’re a professional photographer, your images HAVE to stand out from the crowd. They have to look their best, particularly in this day and age when everything is shared online.
When you use Dress to Impress, you are doing just that: dressing your photos to impress.
Here’s what Dress to Impress user, Asia Croson from California had to say:
“So I have to admit, I first got Dress to Impress and I was like “eeeek! I don’t know if my work is that ‘creative’, I like to have real life colors etc…” BUT THEN I played more and more, fell in love with “Laced moonlight”, “Whipped Cream”, and “Ace of Spades” … and I kid you not, it makes me want to CRY at how great my pictures look. Like, does every wedding photographer have Dress to Impress that makes their pictures seem so professional? All of the sudden I feel like my business is GOING PLACES! I feel so inspired and confident, so tahnks for the kick in the bum, fabulous actions, and all of the inspiration!”
And guess what!? For three days only I’m offering you a very special offer on Dress to Impress!
Ever wondered if having a newsletter could boost your sales, and if it was worth the effort? And what are you supposed to write about anyway?
Today I’m telling you why you should definitely have a newsletter for your business, and I’m also going to prepare you with two different examples of emails you could send in your newsletter that are going to build your brand and make you more money. Ready? I thought so.
Leave a comment letting me know:
* Do you have a newsletter?
* If so, what kinds of things do you send out?
* If not, what’s stopping you? What are you afraid of?
I have so many stories from this weekend’s St.Patrick’s Day celebrations that you are going to love! Just imagine a weekend full of dancing in secret gardens, new restaurant mistakes, collecting tons of beads, and crazy floats at the St. Patty’s Day Parade - all resulting in high quality business lessons, *sigh*, my favorite.
BUT I’m saving all of these stories and more for my brand new blog.
“A BRAND NEW BLOG?” I hear you ask! Well, yes, a brand new blog. It’s kind of top secret at the moment, still working out the kinks, but it’s coming soon and I could not be more excited for this new chapter in my career and online presence. Blog number 2, here I come.
Until then, let’s talk target market and pricing. Because, let’s be honest, it’s a topic that never gets old.
You want this:
* Clients who want to hire you because YOU are so amazing at what you do.
* Clients who cringe at the thought of choosing anyone else to do the job but you.
* Clients who will save their money for months to be able to buy what YOU offer.
You don’t want this:
* Clients who purchase according to who’s the cheapest.
* Clients who don’t care who you are, they just want the job done.
* Clients who just don’t understand the value in what you do.
If you can’t seem to understand how to grab hold of the clients who want YOU, you’re going to love this video:
And don’t forget – I want to see you comment! Tell me:
* Do you ever get price shoppers who are hiring based on who has the lowest price? * If so, how do you deal with these people? * If not, how have you been able to avoid these people? Got any advice?
I hope your Tuesday is overflowing with color and warmth,
