Of course The Netherlands is known for their windmills.
However, these particular windmills are individually painted a different shade of color.
So as you drive by it looks like a rainbow; It is quite stunning to see them in the daylight.

Steve Jobs’ latest honors: TV, icons, fromage
Tsevis created a series of photomosaics of El Steverino composed solely from images of Apple icons, products, and logos. Although applications such as MacOSaiX enable mere mortals to perform similar tricks, Tsevis says he worked his image-making magic using Adobe Photoshop and Synthetik Software’s Studio Artist.

at Tate Britain, Charlie Dark presents bring the noise, an event that has invited a collective of young british artists to create their own work in response to the art of Ofili. amongst many of those invited was UK artist and designer Insa who created ten-inch heels made from elephant dung entitled ‘anything goes when it comes to (s)hoes’. drawing from the signature style of Ofili who often integrated elephant dung into his work, insa was not only interested in experimenting and integrating this material into his work but also was concerned with teaching himself how to work with a medium that at first may seem inappropriate.

According to NewYorkology, artist Jan Vormann has been busy repairing some holes in New York City buildings with Legos! Vormann’s website now has a DispatchWork—New York section, which documents the latest Lego frenzy. He writes, “In cooperation with the Gallery Jarmuschek+Partner and the kind support of Henk Holzheimer (LEGO Graffity Styles Convention), I went to New York City, as part of the VOLTA artshow, to support Mayor Bloomberg in his everyday-struggle to make this city even more amazing.” We think he succeeded.

Eye-Catching Rug and Matching Slippers
This is the case with Tapistongs, a very cool rug from Lise El Sayed. I particularly like the texture of the material and the color which make this carpet a “must have”. Not only is it interesting and fun, but also modern and quite stylish.
Sustainable Skyscraper Captures The Rain To Fulfill Water Needs Of Its Residents
Designed for the 2010 Skyscraper Competition, the “Capture the Rain” by Ryszard Rychlicki and Agnieszka Nowak, architectural students at H3AR, is a sustainable skyscraper that harvests rainwater to fulfill the daily water needs of its residents. Featuring an innovative roof to capture as much rainwater as possible, together with the external shell comprising a system of gutters to maximize rainwater harvesting, the eco scraper locates special water tanks in the form of a large funnel and reed fields underneath the roof, to work as a water treatment unit. The hydro botanic system filters or processes rainwater before transmitting to the apartments for consumption. In addition, the Capture the Rain integrates a reservoir under the building to store surplus water gathered in the rainy season, which when required can be pumped up to be distributed to the apartments.

Toby Elles, 22, made the discovery after burning the food when he fell asleep while cooking.
After lifting off the scorched bacon Mr Elles, from Salford, Lancs, could not believe his eyes when the Christlike image stared back at him.
The face is complete with eyes, nose, a beard and is framed by long flowing hair.
Mr Elles, a cashier for Halifax Bank, said: “I fell asleep cooking some bacon and it had burned this face onto the pan, it’s some kind of miracle.
“If it wasn’t for the smoke of the bacon burning this onto the pan it could have been a very bad situation, perhaps someone’s looking over me.
