Summary

I have been freelancing as a creative (illustrator, graphic designer and art director) for five years. I've studied marketing and advertisement in order to understand and develop my work for that market. I believe that there's only one thing that's holy, and that's a deadline.
Specialties: I'm a damn good illustrator with experience in most fields, including animation, 3D visualisation and illustrations made both with traditional art tools and the computer.

    Marknad/Joint Market Center/Butiksreklam ICA is Swedens largest grocery chain. My assignment was a position as a graphic designer and layout artist at the in-house agency in Kungälv, Sweden. The assignment included making DM, ads, signs, illustrations and updates for the web.

Youth Volunteer Zimbabwe -95 with Forum Syd (Worked as a youth volunteer in Zimbabwe and Sweden in 1995. A majority of the work done in Sweden was holding lectures on the north/south conflict and spread awareness through media.) Cap & Design is Scandinavia's largest design and advertisement magazine. They featured my portfolio in 2008 as well as commissioned me to write a series of tutorials/articles on illustration, published both in the magazine and online at www.idg.se.

    Although my gift lies in communicating with shopping carts, I have lately realised that in some cases I am able to, with great concentration and effort, barely sense what those little creatures called "signs" are trying to communicate to us.

    This is a true sunshine story. Hope called me on my mobile from a phonebooth at liverpoolstreet station on a late thursday evning. I took her across the street to the local tesco where she was employed as a shoppingcart, mainly patroling the dairy section.

    I met John when he tried to enter a church on Kingsland Road, unfortunately he wasnt let in, despite the promising sign on the church. He gave up and headed across the street to the Mosque.

    Whitmore

    I've seen this alot lately, young carts ending up on the streets before they've grown into real normal sized carts. This is Whitmore, he usualy lives on philipstreet, but today he was out for a walk. Hes a bit shy, but polite and he tries to keep himself neat and tidy despite living on the streets.

    Gunnar and his brother Matt were once the new slim blonde singing models of shopingcarts. Now, Gunnar works the corner by the church at Nelson Terrace. He still sings though, if you ask him nicely.

    Britney used to be working at a high fashion shoppingmall. She was hijacked by a hillbilly named Kevin, stuffed with junk and left for dead outside a gas station near Angel.
    It was quite hard to understand her and she kept flaunting her bits.

    My lost little wheeled friends

    Hello!
    My name is Alice and I want to share something with you;
    I saw a documentary on the telly the other day. It was about a lady named Samantha who claimed she could talk to animals. She said she communicated with them through pictures and that they talked back. I was so relieved! I was not alone! I too talk to little creatures. They are filled with desires and emotions and I help them achive their dreams.

    I'm talking about the wonderful, precious creatures called "shoppingcarts".
    I have so many stories to tell you about shoppingcarts I've met; from the creaky ladies at my local grocery store to the smooth steely gentleman I met at Debenhams last year. His secret dream was to be filled with lingerie and spun in circles untill he passed out. He told me this behind a shirt stand at the summersale, and later I returned to grant his wish.

    But behind the passion and the characters, theres a problem. The ones who gets lost, abducted and abused. This page is for them; the lost ones who are looking for a home and someone who will love them dearly.
