Water levels are getting a little high…they had to evacuate part of my town, the river has risen up seven feet
I just dropped that Restricted cat in the corner for fun. I’ve recently been interested in the sleazy drive-in movies of the seventies and always loved seeing this cat on the black and white ads showing what was playing. Did you know it was originally a Vancouver thing and that the cat is a BC mountain lion? I always thought it was supposed to be like a sexy panther or something…

For a time the nightmares had left Nathan Cross. After he destroyed Pan and his hold on Neverland he was able to sleep at night. But now the nightmares have returned...and so has something else. People are starting to disappear again and Cross knows that evil lives in Neverland again. Zenescope presents the second series in its hit Grimm Fairy Tales spinoff, Neverland."

This is a piece I donated to Newf Friends Dog Rescue for their charity fundraiser. It's a drawing of one of my newfs Neptune standing watch as a lifeguard undistracted from his duty. Neptune does water rescue work and loves pulling boats to shore and swimming lines out to people in the water.
It was auctioned off at the event and the winning bid came from an online bid from Illinois. Thanks to everyone who bid on all the donated artwork--all the money goes to helping Newfs in need. The whole event raised $20,000 so the fundraiser was a whopping success!

One of the characters from my upcoming heist comic with Fred Kennedy.
Gears is a former Delta operator now living in a steel quonset hut on his farm. He likes heavy weaponry, deadlifts, and listening to Electric Wizard with his headphones on. He also likes to sit and watch the main house where his ex-wife now lives with her new guy friend.

This is a pinup I'm doing for the back of the Teuton collected edition...
1. Done on 8.5 x 11, I try and get down fast the composition I'm thinking of. I'm pretty happy here with the Komtur's face but what is that on the right, like a dog or something?
2. Ah, the Komtur leading his undead army...very fun. I was enjoying this until I did that zombie knight in the foreground. Static and ugly. I did a bunch (to no avail) to get the attention off him. Still ugly. Now do I worry about screwing up the other undead knights? That's a lot of knights. This is due mid-June.
3. Inking this today. I zoomed in on the Komtur and had him offing a Pagan soldier. Not as good a composition as the middle, but I will try and ink with a lot of energy and action. Try.

I went out this morning to feed the horses and thought I'd bring the camera. -40 out and their whiskers and eyelashes were frozen. I lasted about 2 minutes before I went back to dump the camera and put some warmer clothes on. And a facemask. I spent an hour out with them after that just doing some chores. I'm amazed that they don't seem bothered by it at all.
I gotta say I'm getting pretty excited. The pages for my first book are finally being sent off and I'm so looking forward to it finally being out there.
From what I understand the motion comic will be out shortly and the print version will follow shortly after (maybe in the Fall).
The Devilfish Project is a cyberpunky action thriller. It's got crazy bio-engineered super-soldiers, apocalyptic post-environmental collapse world, dangerous bike gangs, high-powered weaponry, girls with tattoos, deadly bounty hunters, cities under water, intrigue on distant space stations, hot genetic marvels, sharks with laser beams, uh I don't know the President of the United States, and more. But you probably shouldn't hold me to the sharks thing.
It's a creator-owned project by myself and the awesome Byron Jackson with whom I worked on Candy From Strangers on DC's Zuda website (sadly now gone). It features the actor Max Ryan (my favourite role: Pachenko from Death Race).
